My Daughter’s Changing Life
I am no longer the center of my daughter’s life; the far off Cry for Daddy could now mean Maddie, Her younger sister, Or perhaps my form has four paws, an endlessly wagging tail and powerful jaws, Munching on a bone under the table, Instead of being two cats curled in the corner, Sleeping. I am no longer the center Of my daughter’s life; she now knows What I have taught her so far, And learns faster what I do not have time to teach. J. M. Giles copyright2004JMGpublishing
