Written after hearing more programs focusing on reading, writing and verbal communication skills in public education and prison reform programs were going to be gutted in order to pay for cleaning up another meaningless war’s aftermath.

It is appalling to observe and listen to George W. Bush and his administration’s arrogance, when it is obvious that neither possess the ability to admit they are capable of making fallible choices based upon short term decision making profiting the few, and not the whole.  

It be bad to no to write.

Communications skill badly used will unite

Are nation as one unhonorably speaking voice

Unable to understand our words.

Words be more important when said,

Not read.

What’s next?

Is Ray Bradbury’s fireman going to visit our nation’s libraries and soak our history in gasoline, torch all that we believed in when the mayflower’s prostitutes, pimps, drug addicts, dealers and thieves shook hands with native peoples and stabbed them in the back over pumpkin pie?
